Nativity scene. Neo-baroque mystery. March - December 2021

The purpose of creating a musical and theatrical performance “Nativity scene. Neparoque mystery” based on the archival materials of the Sokyryn (Halagan) Vertep (1770), there is a reconstruction and rethinking of historical artifacts (notes and texts of the nativity scene), which are stored in the funds of the Museum of Theatrical, Music and Cinema of Ukraine; Promotion of Ukrainian Baroque music and contemporary Ukrainian theater art in Ukraine and abroad. Tasks of the project: creation of a team of performance; work with museum archives, their scanning; stylistically correct performance of music using musical instruments of the appropriate age; work on the theatrical production of the nativity scene; Development of online platforms for further placement of all materials. As a result of the project, we will get a modern theatrical-stage version of the Sokyryn Nativity Nativity, video recording of performance, a series of live shows in Ukraine.
